This townhome was in a rough condition when we bought in 2017. Very outdated kitchen and bathrooms, awful wall color and the rugs were worn out. Our plan was to transform this place into an Airbnb rental with a very tight budget( $20,000), including renovation and furniture. The goal is to keep it functional but highlight personality

The color scheme is eclectic blue with accent orange and yellow. I choose this color combination because I would like this Airbnb listing to stand out and easily caught viewer’s’ eye to lead more booking.

Could you believe the desk top is actually countertop from IKEA? We cut it to match the length of the wall and added very strong aluminum legs. The total cost is only $400. Isn’t it functional and stylish?
